My sewing room is a work in progress. . . No sewing has actually happened here since I pulled out my sewing desk and storage shelving last week. There's been lots of work happening, though--but with power tools and timber, rather than needle and thread. So far I have a new sewing desk, courtesy of Freecycle and Ikea. It's big enough for my laptop and printer as well as my sewing machine and overlocker, which frees up space for what I hope to be my Etsy shop in the nook that used to house my computer stuff. I'm hoping this set up will make it easier to take photos of my work.
This morning my task is to make a set of shelves to hold my quilting fabrics and cutting board.
Then I'm hoping to get to some sewing!
